'FieldMariner was born out of a simple vision: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. The Rossi family, who laid the foundation for our pizzeria in 1985, managed it as a quaint, family-operated venue preserving family recipes that span generations.
Marco Rossi, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza creation through her Italian sojourns, absorbing the recipes from legendary pizzaiolos in Naples—the ancestral home of pizza. Following her journey back to the UK, she aspired to encapsulate the essence of genuine Italian pizza, employing original techniques and pristine ingredients.
What was once a humble pizzeria with a 12-seat capacity has evolved into a cherished local establishment. Yet, our dedication to superior quality and unwavering authenticity remains unchanged. We continue to utilize traditional wood-burning ovens, prepare our dough fresh each day, and prioritize the finest ingredients available.
Nowadays, 'FieldMariner' is still a family-held enterprise, with the Rossi's next generation steering our ardent team. While we have welcomed some modern enhancements, the essence of our venture stays the same: forging scrumptious, real pizza that unites people.
